Despite the fact that the congress still seems set to close down the raft of open gov sites setup under the Obama administration, there is a little good news.

The code behind itdashboard.gov has been released to the world through an account on the venerable (and surprisingly still going) Sourceforce.

I've only had a quick look through and install I've done at itdashboard.collaborynth.com.au but it seems this could be turned to more general financial openness projects with maybe a moderate amount of work.

As I explore further I'll put up more notes.
